A view from the pulpit. In Orthodox Judaism prayer is separated with the Ladies sitting upstairs and men downstairs. The stained glass windows were commissioned by John Clark for Queens Park Synagogue which has since closed. The raised platfrom is the 'Bimah' where the Rabbi or other competent lay reader leads the service from.
