The Huntarian Museum & Art Gallery, Glasgow
The University of Glasgow's Huntarian Museum first opened its doors in 1807, making it Scotland's oldest public museum.  Its founder, Dr William Hunter, was a pioneering obstetrician and teacher with a passion for collecting.  His vast collection is the cornerstone of the collection today.  The museum is house in the same building as Glasgow University.
