La Pasionaria, Custom House Quay, Glasgow
Erected by the City of Glasgow and the British Labour Movement to pay tribute to the men and women who went to fight fascism in the 1936-1939 Spanish Civil war.  2,100 volunteers went from the UK, 534 were killed, 65 of whom came from Glasgow.
