Glasgow's most ancient attraction. These are the 300 million year old fossilised remains of an extinct plant called giant clubmoss. They were discovered in 1887 when a quarry was being landscaped as part of the creation of Victoria Park. A building was erected over them and they have become a favourite attraction ever since. They can be viewed free of charge from April to September. Opening times
