Tower of Empire, Bellahouston Park, Glasgow
This rather forlorn box hedge garden marks the spot where the "Tower of Empire" stood during the 1938 Empire Exhibition that took place in the park.  The [url=http://www.drookitagain.co.uk/coppermine/displayimage.php?pid=685/] Tower [/url] stood 300ft tall at the highest point of the park.  It, along with almost all the other buildings were demolished when the exhibition ended.
