Compressor Room, Mull of Galloway Lighthouse
These are two of the three Kelvin K2 Diesel Engines that produce the compressed air necessary to sound the foghorn at the lighhouse.  They were in use up until 1987 and in 2018 they wre refurbished and are once again operational.  This is now the only working foghorn on the Scottish Mainland but is only used on special occasions.
