The Mercat Cross, Culross
Culross is a small picturesque village on the North shore of the River Forth. The original Mercat Cross is thought to date from 1588 although what you see today was restored is 1902. Those familiar with the TV Series "Outlander" may recognise this location as to where there were gallows set up in one episode.
