The Pennan Telephone Box
To many this is just a telephone box in an Aberdeenshire coastal village. But to others this is the telephone box in the classic 1983 Bill Forsyth film, "Local Hero". All was not quite how it seemed in the film though, the supposedly local beach scenes were actually filmed at the white sands of Morar away over on the west coast.
