Apothecarys Tower, Portree
The tower sits on top of "The Lump" over looking the Harbour. It was apparently built to indicate to shipping that Portree could offer medical assistance, the hospital is just down the road. Exactly why the pink boarding has been put round it I'm unsure, I dare say the Council thought it was a good idea at the time. This photo was taken in 2014 so it might not be there now.
