Looking across the mouth of Loch Eriboll towards Whiten Head. On the extreme right you can see the roof of a small cottage, this is all that remains of the township of Ceanabeinne which was cleared in 1842. This last survivor was built in 1827 as the schoolhouse and was used as such until 1845. Map location.
