The Museum was started in 1965 to preserve a way of life from the 19th century. It consists of a series of thatched cottages set up to show the different uses they would have been put too. It is located at the north of Skye which means you also get fantastic view out to sea on a good day. The grave of Flora MacDonald is also located nearby.
