Dunvegan Castle, Loch Dunvegan
A view of
Dunvegan Castle
from the south. Standing on a high rocky outcrop its clear to see why this was such a good stronghold for the Clan Chief of the Macleod's for 800 years. It was once surrounded by water and also had its own fresh water well.
