The Eagle Stone, Strathpeffer
A mysterious legacy of the Picts, dating from before the 7th century.  The images of an Eagle and a horseshoe are carved on one face.  These Symbol stones are found all over what was Pictland, from Shetland to the Firth of Forth.  The meaning of the symbols is not known.
