Looking out from the South West Passage Grave at Clava
As with the other cairns at Clava the entrance passage is aligned south west to catch the mid winter sun rise. The grave would have have been covered over with large flag stones with a very low entrance passage that you would have to crawl through. On the right hand side you can see carved 'cup' marks, the meaning of these is unknown. You can see one of the 11 stones that ring the cairn to the left of the entrance in the distance.
