Entrance to the South West Passage Grave at Clava
What you see here today is very different from how it was built in the Bronze Age. The entire structure would have been covered. There would have been large flag stones covering the entrance passage such that you would have to crawl to enter. The grave was excavated in 1828 but little is known of the human remains that were found. Map location.
