Neptune's staircase, Caledonian Canal
This is the point where the Caledonian Canal comes back down to sea level on the west coast.   The series of 8 locks lifts boats 19.5m (64ft).  This is the longest staircase lock in the UK and it takes about 90 minutes for a boat to travel through the system.
