Panoramic view over Motherwell
Taken from the top of the Motherwell Heritage Centre in 2008. On the left hand side and all along the horizon Glasgow can be seen in the distance. The centre is dominated by the Motherwell Bridge Engineering factory with its iconic water tower. The factory once covered all the area where the red tiled houses now stand. On the right you can see Coatbridge in the sitance and on the extreme right are the two LNG storage tanks at Glen Mavis.
