Entrance to the Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist Temple, Eskdalemuir
This really isn't what you expect to find in the depths of the Esk valley, but the peace and tranquility of the location does seem to be at one with the Buddhist faith. The Temple was built over a period of 10 years from 1979 using pink Fyfestone. The Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery was established in 1967, visitors are welcomed.
