The international Rose trial Garden, Tollcross Park Started in 1986 the rose garden covers 1 hectare on a south facing slope. Rose breaders from several countries submit their roses for growing and they are judged every August. There are over 240 varieties and some 4000 plants giving a spectacular display at the height of summer.
