The Queen Elizabeth II arriving at Greenock on the Clyde, 5th October 2008
The QE2 makes its last visit to its birth place, the river Clyde, before retiring from service after 41 years service. It was the last ocean liner built at John Browns yard in Clydebank and the likes of it are never likely to be seen again on the stocks of the remaining Clyde yards.
