Looking North East from the top of Duncarnock hill.  On the left you can see Barrhead creeping up the Fereneze hills.  In the distance covering the entire width of the photo is Greater Glasgow with Paisley on the left hand side.  The concrete block is one of the thousands of 'trig' points placed around the UK between 1935 and 1962 by the Ordnance Survey.
