St Quivox Church, Auchencruive
A church of some kind has stood here since around the 12th century.  Its name has changed several times, the original name being Sanchar-in-Kyle. In 1595 the church was restored by Lord Cathcart, the owner of Auchincruive Estate, other additions to the building were made in the 18th and 19th century.
