Built in 1840 to a design by by Customs Officer John Taylor. It housed offcials who collected duties on imports and exports on Glasgows extensive docks at the time. It was later used by the Procurator Fiscal's Office but at the time this photo was taken in 2011 was empty. There are plans to use this Catagory A listed building as the front for a new 200 bed hotel. Map location.
