The Grand Corridor, Greenock Municipal Buildings
They weren't kidding when they called this the 'grand' corridor. In 1881 the budget for the building was £80,000, as you might imagine this was easily exceeded. The mosaic on the floor has a picture of a long ship with the town motto of "God Speed Greenock". Map location.
