The old Bellahouston Academy, Ibrox

This picture has crept in for purely sentimental reasons, this was the school my Father went to and also my first school as an infant. It was built in 1876 as a private school but taken over by the Govan School board in 1885 who added a swimming pool at the back, common today but almost unheard of at the time. I can remember as an infant having to walk past it to get to the Gym. Map location
