Dunure Harbour
Dunure is a small coastal village 5 miles south of Ayr.  It was developed in the 19th century as a fishing station but today its harbour shelters mainly pleasure craft.  The harbour area remains unspoilt by new developments and the ruined castle nearby gives the village a relaxed atmosphere for the visitor.
