Red Road, Glasgow
It was difficult to find a more depressing view in Glasgow than here at the former Red Road Tower Blocks. Another of the great new developments of the 60's that rapidly became just another new problem of the 80's. During the 1980's two of the towers were declared unfit for habitation and were used for housing students. By 2008 it was decided to demolish the entire scheme and by 2015 the last blocks came down. This photo was taken in 2007.
