The Lyceum Cinema, Govan
Open in 1938 to replace a theatre of the same name that burned down in 1937. It could seat 2,600 people, somewhat larger than your typical multiplex of today. In 1974 it was sold to County Bingo and split into a 480 seat cinema and a Bingo hall. It closed in 2006 and today this catagory B listed building has an uncertain future.
