The Italian Cloister Garden Memorial next to St Andrews Cathedral in Glasgow. Opened in 2011 its focalpoint is a memorial for the SS Arandora Star tragedy when nearly 446 Italians and 356 British and German nationals lost their lives in the torpedoing of the ship when transporting prisoners from the UK to Canada during WWII.
