Looking out from Ardrossan Sea front
Watching the Arran ferry approach the harbour at Ardrossan. The steps are part of what used to be an outdoor swimming pool filled with rather cold tidal sea water. It has long since fallen into dis-repair. Many of the coastal towns had such structures, summers must have been warmer then.
