"Foam", Greenbank Gardens
This statue was the creation of Charles d'Orville Pilkington Jackson (yes, that really was his name) and was first exhibited at the Empire exhibition of 1938 in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. It remained in his position after the Exhibition but was donated to the National Trust after his death in 1973 and displayed here at Greenbank Gardens.
