Elder Park Library
Paid for by Mrs elder, wife of John Elder, the founder of Fairfield Shipyard in Govan.  She insisted that the library be open on  Sundays giving access to all.  It was opened in 1903 by Andrew Carnegie, the famous Scottish born industrialist.
