The Binns, near Linlithgow
The family seat of the Dalyell family since the 17th century, the house is now in the ownership of the National Trust and is open to the public. The late MP, Tam Dalyell, (made famous for his 'west Lothian question') still lived in part of the house at the time of this photo. If you look closely at the entrance, the gentleman with the walking stick is in fact Tam Dalyell who enjoyed meeting those visiting the house.
