Inside The Linthouse Building, Scottish Maritime Museum, Irvine
This building was originally the Engine Shop for Alexander Stephens & Sons of Linthouse, Govan.  It was moved by the Scottish Maritime Museum from Govan to Irvine and rebuilt as it would have been in 1872.  In 1872 it cost £14,000 to build, the cost of the move was considerably more.
