The Kildalton Cross, Islay
One of the finest early Christian Crosses in Britain, probably carved in the second half of the eigth century by sculptors from Iona.  The carvings on this side has scenes of the Virgin and Child with attending angels, Cain murdering Abel, the Sacrifice of Isaac and David Killing the Lion.
