The Kibble Palace, Glasgow Botanic Gardens
Taken in December 2006 not long after being re-opened following a major restoration. The building was completely dismantled, repaired and then rebuilt between 2003 and 2006. The building started life in the 1860's as a conservatory at John Kibble's home in Coulport. In 1872 it was dismantled and brought up the Clyde by barge, rebuilt and enlarged at its present site in Glasgow.
