Edinburgh Zoo is Scotland's last traditional style Zoo, located only 3 miles west of Edinburgh City Centre covering some 82 acres on a hill side. It opened in 1913 and remains one of Scotland's most popular visitor attractions. The young Giraffe here, named Sapphire, was about 2 years old at the time the photo was taken and was born at Edinburgh Zoo.
