The old bridge, Sorn
The Auld Brig dates from the early 18th century is opposite the Church. The money to build the bridge is said to have been raised by The Rev. Steel who was minister between 1736 and 1751. Apparently one of the congregation had drowned when fording the swollen river to attend a service. Map location.
