This clip opens with a view of the now demolished outdoor swimming pool (the white building). Outdoors pools could at one time be found in most popular seaside towns. The only surviving one I know of in Scotland is the heated outdoor pool at Gourock. The island of Ailsa Craig can be seen on the horizon.
