The East Church, Cromarty
One of the best examples of an early post reformation Church in Scotland. It bears the date of 1593 but has had several modifications since. It is thought to have replaced an earlier medieval church. In 1998 the church was taken over by the Scottish Redundant Churches Trust and was fully restored to its former glory in 2008. The church is open to the public and a good place to get in out the rain on a miserable wet day like this!
