The Bearsden Roman Bathhouse
The ruins of a Roman Bathhouse sit uncomfortably in the middle of a housing development in Bearsden. Dating from the 140s AD they were associated with a Fort on the Antonine Wall. There is no longer any trace of the fort. These ruins were discovered in 1973, presumably when the surrounding flats were being built.
