Brooksby House, Largs
Palm trees and cherry blossom, must be Largs.  Brooksby house sits in a commanding location on the sea front, it was built in 1837 to serve as a yachting holiday home for a Glasgow merchant.  In 1884 it was gifted to the Victoria Infirmary who used it as a convalescent home.  Today this category A listed building  is part of Largs Brooksby Medical centre.
