Taken during the lead up to the historic Scottish Independence Referendum on the 18th September 2014. The final result was 2,001,926 against and 1,617,989 for independence. Although it was clear No it does beg the question why 45% of those who voted would have been happy to leave the 300 year old union. Personally I see it as a deferred yes rather than a no.
