The former Broadlie Mill, Neilston
Underneath the unatractive modern cladding of the Clyde Leather Works is the old Broadlie Mill built around 1792 Mr Airston of Nether Kirkton. By 1854 is had become a flax mill and then later still a dye works. The Levern water flows past the Mill below the old stone wall you see in the photo.
