Vulcan XM597, Museum of Flight The cockpit of the Avro Vulcan at East Fortune. The 2 black bombs painted on the side are for its role in two of the "Black Buck" missions during the Falklands War in 1982. In the second of those missions it had to divert to Brazil due to technical problems and remained there until the war ended.
