The Spirit of Scotland, Loudoun Hill
A monument at Loudoun Hill to commemorate William Wallace's defeat of a small English Force near this spot in 1296.  This should not be confused with The Battle of Loudoun hill in 1307 in which Robert The Bruce defeated a much larger English force during the wars of independence.
