The Linthouse building, Scottish Maritime Museum, Irvine
This is the Category A listed former Engine Shop of Alexander Stephen & Sons of Govan.  In 1991 it lay derelict at Linthouse on the river Clyde, it was relocated, brick by brick, and reconstructed here at Irvine some 30 miles away.  It now houses many of the exhibits at the Museum.
