The Great Polish Map of Scotland, Barony Castle Hotel
Created by to young Poles over 5 summers from 1974. The map was the idea of Krakow born Jan Tomasik who had been station in Galasheils in 1942. He married a Scottish Nurse and became a successful Hotelier after the war, adding Barony Castle to his properties in 1968. With the help of the University of Krakow geography dept and students from the University the map was created. It is the largest known physical representation of a country and the largest outdoor releif map in the world.
