Cultybraggan former RGHQ bunker
Built in the late 1980s at a cost of £30m it was intended to replace the bunker at Troywood (now a museum) but although completed in 1990 it was never used. It was not designed to withstand a direct hit but rather protect those inside from the fall out of a Nuclear detonation. You can see an emergency exit on the side. Today the bunker is used by an Internet provider. Map location
