This unusual wooden building in Braemar was not a railway station since the railway never came as far as Braemar. It was in fact a bus station which operated a bus service from 1904 to the nearest railway station in Ballater. This was the waiting room and ticket offices, there was a bus garage at the rear which is now demolished. Map location.
